For every new blogger having a his new blog is really an interesting experience. You feel awesome when people reads your blog, people comment and you start getting recognition in the blogosphere.
Many people start blogging thinking that they will be the next Darren Rowse or Jeremy or some other inspirational blog in just few days. But when they come to know that they have not really got anything which they expected; they give up!..phew.

So why it is like this?

  • Lost Of Patience
One of the main reason could be that the blogger thinks that the blog will get millions of readers in just a couple of nights which clearly shows his impatience. They just do nothing in terms of blog optimizing or anything else which could increase it's readership base.

  • Being Specific
Second reason could be that they only focus only on one specific thing of that niche. For example a blogger starts a blog on iPod's then he just publishes articles about new iPod's launched by companies.
He doesn't thinks anything other than that and when there is nothing to share about any new Ipod launch the blog ultimately runs out of steam.
Instead of focusing on one thing he should actually also talk about things related to iPod's like Ipod games, software's and stuffs like this.

  • Only Money and nothing else
Many bloggers give up blogging saying that they are not earning anything, duh! So alternatively they start feeling bored on internet and blames things with which he played on his blog saying like this program is not working or it doesn't let you earn much; blah blah.

These are the most common things which lead to the abandoning of a blog. The simple truth is that making a popular blog requires time, focus and quite a lot of effort.

So, Take your time and build slowly. You will get your results on the long run...

blogging tipsA great way to expose your article on the search engines is to optimize your articles as if they were pages on your website. Here's how you can get an article ranked well and generate tons of traffic:

1) Go to Google Adwords' Keyword Suggestion tool and type in some general keywords in your niche.
search engine friendly articles
Look for a good Search Volume and copy those keywords into a spreadsheet or text document.

2. Search for those keywords in quotes on Google. For example, if your keyword is "dog training tips", that's exactly how I would input it in Google. Look for results of less than 2,000,000. These search terms are relatively easy to rank well for.

3. Write an article, optimized for those keywords.

4. Submit your article to the directories like ezine or goarticles.

5. Start building backlinks to your keyword optimized article(s) as if they were pages on your website.

You can try social bookmarking, blog posts, Hub Pages, Squidoo pages, etc. You will soon start getting some tasty placings for your article(s), and ultimately each article will start
milking more traffic easily.

Your goal is to have hundreds of articles out there. That's how you create massive traffic.

blogging tipsHow often you write is entirely up to you only. Some bloggers prefer updating their blog with new post daily but some prefer once, twice or thrice a week.

Both of them are fine but don't think of posting once a month because if you update your blog once a month then your blog will lose it's regular readership and then you won't be able to hold on to your readers.

Your goal is to write in such a way that your readers gets happy by your article and links to it from his/her blog which will benefit you in many ways.

blogging tipsBut how much should you write? Particularly in my opinion you should not write too much like a newspaper story. You should try to limit your article between 200-500 words (as much as the article demands).

But here is the important thing; you should not make your full post visible on the first page or homepage. You should try that each post have it's own page. Most of the bloggers nowadays uses "Read More..." hack on their blog so that it only shows a small teaser of your post on the homepage.

So in short your Homepage should be a list of teasers of your posts and So always remember that Putting all your posts on one long page is a big mistake.

I hope this article would have helped you in deciding how often and how much you should write.

Increase Blog Traffic Blogging TipsThere are numerous strategies through which you can increase your blog traffic, with the goal of creating the maximum exposure possible for each post. You want to use all the features available for that. So, that when you initially write a post, you will want to follow these steps:

1. Identify a topic of major interest to your readers.(very Important)
2. Choose appropriate keywords for SEO or use plug-in.
3. Write it up and tag it with relevant tags.
4. Categorize it to make it easy to find in your blog.
5. Add interesting and helpful content.
6. Publish it.
7. Bookmark it like on technorati.
8. Submit it to news sites like digg, yahoo buzz.
9. Respond to all comments to generate a discussion.
10. Go to other blogs or forums with similar topics and post comment and backlink.

You also want to research which posts were the most successful and steer your future blog articles in that direction. That's pretty easy to tell because your administrative panel (your blog tracker site) will show the number of people who found your post and probably read it. It should also indicate which are the top posts of all, and that can also be valuable information.

If you happen to get a trackback from another blogger, this is really great news! A trackback is a reference back to your post from another blogger with a similar post. This can generate instant traffic for your post and you may be wondering where it's coming from, until you see the trackback. So, make sure trackbacks are enabled on your site.

One of the ways search engines determine how to rate your content is by the number of backlinks. So, when you work with a number of other bloggers, you can raise each other's post values by linking back to posts or using trackbacks.

Lastly, if you are still having trouble raising interest, try to ride on the coat-tails of other popular blogs like shoemoney or johnchow or mashable that have made the front page of some tagging or news site. You simply put a comment in their blog with a link back to your post. Or, you can try to respond to an interesting article online with your own commentary and offer a link back to their blog. Then, add a comment showing your own controversial view of the topic to get extra readers by sharing your link.

I hope following such easy strategies will surely help you in increasing your blog traffic.

When an online marketer is designing and setting up web pages they may use a Meta information to allow search engines to gain an understanding of what their website or web page is designed to do for visitors.

In the following article I will try to cover almost all the necessary things related to META Tags. OK Then we will first start of with the basic:

What are META Tags?

Meta tags are nothing but simple HTML codes that are inserted into the header of the blog. These tags are not visible to readers. META Tags basically tells the search engine spiders about specific things related to your blog.

META Tags Looks Like This:
Either: <meta name="name" content="content">

Or: <meta http-equiv="name" content="content">

What are the Benefits Of META Tags?

Well, META tags are proved important in SEO. Using of META tags certainly helps you to improve your search rankings. From the past few years META Tags hugely came into popularity and everyone started using that in their blogs in a way to help their search rankings.

How To Use META Tags?

Well, Looking on the internet I came to know that there are almost more than 200+ types of META Tags; If you don't believe me then have a look by Clicking Here!

But many of them are not used as if like they have become almost extinct. So I will only tell you about some of the recommended META tags which you can easily implement and get into working.

To add these Meta Tags in your blogger blog,
Go to Layout section of your blog>Edit Html. Then Just paste any of the Meta Tags listed below just after starting <head> tag.

NOTE: Sometimes while adding these Meta Tags into your blogger template you could get a problem like this: "The element type "meta" must be terminated by the matching end-tag"

Then in such a situation just add "/" at the ending of the Meta Tags before ">" So it would like this:
<meta name="name" content="content"/>

So let's look at some of the Meta Tags:

1.Meta Title
These tags are used to tell the title of the page. The Meta Title tag would normally have the same title as contained in the <title></title> tag.

For Example:
<META NAME="Title" CONTENT="Your Page Title Here like Blogging Tips">

Since, Your title tag also comes in the <title></title> area, so there is not a very high necessity of using this tag but it depends on your choice.

2.Meta Description
This tag gives a short description of the your page. It is always recommended to keep your Meta Description Tag up to 150 Characters.

For Example:
<META NAME="description" CONTENT="Blogging and Webmaster Tips for your blog.">

3.Meta Keywords
This tag is used to list keywords that define/tells the content of your site. Keywords are used by search engines to properly index your site in addition to words from the title, document body, and other areas.
Ensure that you choose keywords that are relevant to your site. Try to keep your keywords with maximum 30 words of 500 Characters. Also avoid using any keyword more than 5 times otherwise for excessive repetition many search engines will penalize you for this.

For Example:
<META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="make money, blogging tips, blogger templates">

4.Meta Robots
These tags control the search engine robots on a per-page basis. There are many types of Meta Robots tags through which you can tell the robots what content to index and spider.I will give examples for few of them with one line explanation about what it does.

For Example:
-Tell search engines not to index your pages (noindex)
<meta name="robots" content="noindex">

-Tell search engines to index your site but not to follow links (nofollow)
<meta name="robots" content="nofollow">

-Tell search engines to not index or follow links on your web page (noindex, nofollow)
<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow">

-Tell search engines to index your site and follow links (index, follow)
<meta name="robots" content="index,follow">

-Tell search engines not to cache your pages (noarchive)
<meta name="robots" content="noarchive">

Well there are more than 101 types of Meta Robots Tags to blog certain things. Have a look here.
It is recommended not to use any stupid Meta Robots which would block the access of spiders resulting in poor rankings.

5.Meta Abstract
This tag gives a short summary of the description. The content for this tag is usually 10 words or less.

For Example:
<META NAME="Abstract" CONTENT="Blogging Tips For Bloggers">

As I told you that there are more than 200 types of Meta Tags, of which more than 75% are useless nowadays for many bloggers. So the above tags are always recommended to be used in your blog.

You can also try this cool tool for generating your Meta Tags easily. Just input your things and let script serve your Meta Tags.

Okay. I think that should be enough to know about Meta Tags and you've just learned the most useful ones. Congratulations. So here we end up with this article and see you till next article.

Commenting On Other Blogs Is ImportantCommenting on other blogs is a very good thing to get readers no matter the blog is a dofollow or nofollow. You should comment on other blogs of your choice regularly. If you are still not convinced about this, here are some top reasons that tells why you should keep commenting on other blogs:

1. If you keep commenting on other blog with your identity, the owner plus other readers will also start knowing/recognising you.
For example, let's take my blog, I have a reader named "Krisditya"; he comments regulary on my blog on various articles which shows his true readership qualities. You need to leave comment as this is the best and the only way the blog owner can analyze your goals without any sort of direct or indirect communication.

2. Many blogs, these days let you leave a link of your website while writing comments for the blog so while commenting, if you leave a link to your blog, then the chances are you will receive traffic from their if you made any outstanding comment. Thus it will help you in gaining inbound links and traffic also increase in readership.

3. Luck, could be a major factor while commenting. Since when you comment you don't know that who is reading that thing and it could be possible that some biggies from the industry is reading it and could be amazed by your opinion and might help you in someway :) .

Other than that, I advise to comment on new blogs as much as possible since if you are commenting in a crowded blog like Shoemoney, then chances are less that it could be read by everybody.

So keep commenting and add value to the discussion as it includes lots of fun. Now tell me will you/have you start/started commenting on blogs? :)

Q2.How important is SEO?
=> It is common knowledge that the search engines of today love content, they cannot get enough new content and keep coming back time and time again, but why? As far as SEO goes, a busy site is a site which is constantly growing and growth means more content. The goal of SEO is to attract more visitors to certain websites.
When you search for any specific keyword like 'Smart Blogger Templates' on Google, for instance, you will surely find a lot of pages of search results. The ones found at the top of the list are the ones that have effectively employed SEO.

Q4.What are link farms and link exchanges?
=> A link farm is a system where all the members are linked to each other via a common set of link pages. The result is that all members have a links page with the other members' web addresses on them. Whereas, Link exchange is the process of exchanging links with other websites of your choice.

When you’re a webmaster you need to build 1 way backlinks to your Blogger blog or site in order to make sure that you increase your search engine rankings. One way backlinks are the hardest backlinks to get because they involve the most amount of work to get, but this is why they are valuable in the search engines and highly sought after by webmasters. There are lots of ways you can gain 1 way backlinks to your site or blog and they’re all typically useful in some way but there are some that will rank better then others.

The best type of 1 way link to receive is through another website or web-blog related to your blog where they give you an in-content 1 way link.

This can happen from your great posting i.e great content and sometimes you can also ask to be mentioned on a blog in return for content or links on other sites of yours. This could also increase relationship between bloggers. If you can build your links this way then you stand an amazing chance at getting lots of search engine rankings in time.

One of the easiest known ways to get quality, one way links is by finding free website directories and then submitting your URL to them. I know, this can be a very tedious and slow process, but at the same time very rewarding. You could also use various Free Directory Submitter services on the net some of them are free but not guaranteed but some needs to be paid and could be a guaranteed product.

At the end I would like to say that Once you’ve achieved the rankings y never ever stop building One Way links because 'SEO' is a thing that you have to perform continuously to fight with other blogs who are trying to get the rankings in search engines.

Might be thinking from the title what I am going to share with you today and why it is called 'Dirty'. I won't let you wait for it; The thing is called 'Google Notebook'.

Google Notebook is a web research tool that allows users to clip text, search results, and images from web pages and place them in notebooks for later use.

Notebook entries can be defined as public or private. So, here's the rub. While surfing on the net I came to know about this trick according to which you can easily get some backlinks from your article or notes published in your Google notebook.

So I published an article into my Google notebook with some links pointing towards my blog and when I checked the links that whether it is Dofollow or Nofollow and OMG, these links were Do-Follow. You can check it here. Since I have done this trick just few days back so I am expecting that it will surely show some results to me after some days. Meanwhile, I also came to know that these pages gets listed on Microsoft search Engine fast which is the amongst the top 10 sites of the world.

I think that links in Google notebook might be a good thing to do for a little backlinks and deep links for interior site pages, but interlinking them in this fashion along with nonsense content screams spammm. What are your opinions about it?

Writing Good Quality Blog Content.Think of a few sites that you like to visit again and again. What makes you keep coming back? Most likely, it’s compelling, relevant, and timely content; Quality articles, tutorials, tips, etc. compel the reader to come back again and again. The wonderful thing about running a blog is that it is loosely based and extremely casual. You have the ability to be far more conversational than professional with those who are posting with you.But at the same time, this does not mean you can slack off and present poor content.

Much like running a web site, you must be able to present quality content in order to have a successful blog.Simply having a blog full of content is not going to get the job done. Although your blog may be technically perfect so that the search engine robots find it, you will find that it will not help if the actual content of your blog is not good. For the content of your blog to be good, it should be factually, as well as grammatically correct.

Don’t cram as many ideas as possible into one paragraph; rather, use that paragraph to focus on only one idea. Also take care of your Post Title. It should be attractive and related to the content so that more and more people look after it.Don't give irregular Titles which your reader won't like ever.

The last thing you have to keep in mind when writing quality content is consistency.Making a post once a week is not going to keep a blog up and running.Try to Update your blog withing every 2-3 days otherwise People will lose interest and move on to a different web site or blog.

And after you’ve got a good article. Go ahead, hit publish. you know it’ll make you feel better. The next step is to re-read your entry again over the next few days. Don’t be afraid to make edits — chances are people will read the same entry down the road.

These are just general guidelines for writing quality Web content. It’s not something that most people can master overnight, so give yourself some time, practice a lot, read a LOT, and always put yourself in your Web site visitor’s place to make your site as user-friendly as possible.

Blogger and Wordpress are two main contenders for free blog hosting. As you know this blog is hosted currently on blogger system since I like it's interface and easy handling. There are many features of blogger and wordpress which I will share with you which will also help you to decide whether to choose blogger or wordpress for your blogging journey.

1. Blogger
This is the one I currently use and is one of the most popular and most used because of its simplicity and also that it provides free blog hosting for its users. The company was bought by Google a few years after it was started and so it is now owned by Google which gives people the impression that blogger blogs get priority in the Google search engine which is apparently not true. You can sign up for a blogger blog from their homepage here: Blogger

Features:
-Uses XML and HTML (classic) templates of which there is a wide selection of.
-Pages are written in HTML.
-Does not support plug-ins but people can add functionality such as adsense and feeds to their blog using the Google gadgets which come in form of widgets.
-Provides free content, video and image hosting on their servers. They don’t support uploading of files other than these though.
-Users have the option of taking a .blogspot sub-domain or using their own top level domains such as .com, .net and such.
-Does not come in script form and so you cannot install it on your web server.

2. Wordpress
Is the most popular stand-alone blogging platform. By stand-alone I mean that you install the script on your web host and you are good to go. In many forums I always read bloggers complaining about blogger and then having all their problems solved by moving to wordpress.I had a wordpress blog for a short time and I have to say that the quality is much better but I just wasn’t happy with it. You can download the script from the wordpress homepage.

Features:
-Pages are written in PHP which explains the better quality of content.
-Uses PHP templates that are also easily available online.
-Supports plug-ins which makes it very easy to customise
-Has the ability to create custom pages different from post pages, a feature that blogger does not have.
-You can also do many things such as password protect posts and comments, prevent comment spam by blocking IP addresses, and many other additional features(they are very many I cannot list them all)
-Easy to upgrade.

Other Info
The Wordpress. team add new features and themes frequently, and since the new BlogSpot publishing system was rolled out in 2006, the Blogger software team also adds new features too but not with the same speed as wordpress do.

Visit the developer blogs to find out what's new or in the pipeline:

!CONCLUSION!
My conclusion is if you’re concerned about what your blog looks like, go with Blogger. You have more control over the look. However, the look/feel of wordpress.com’s templates are nice and clean and they are giving you a lot of options in the sidebar now.

Wordpress.com has many more options that are favorable like categories, pages, and trackbacks. This makes your blog better for visitors and encourages better conversation.

Wordpress is better than blogger if you have the money to buy reliable web hosting and also maybe a good TLD (top level domain), trust me if it wasn’t for the horrible free web hosting I was using at the time I would be writing this article in wordpress right now.

Blogger has to improve their services, they don’t offer track-backs, pings, they only way to prevent comment spamming is the word verification. That is why bloggers are always moving to other platforms but i won't.

If you are not happy with blogger or wordpress here are some other platforms you can try:

Posterous-Blogging highly simplified where all you have to do is email them the content and attach anything from pictures to videos and then they make it into a nice post. No sweat!

Textpattern-Basically the same as wordpress and is a stand-alone platform

MoveableType-Famous for being the first blogging platform to implement trackbacks but it doesn’t seem to be famous anymore

Serendipity-A very flexible platform that comes with very many features and allows users to choose between various mark-ups such as HTML, Textile, Wiki and even BBcode.

Lifetype-A less common blogging platform which has very nice looking posts which is worth looking at.

Flatpress-Very simple platform like blogger with limited features.

Wheatblog-Pretty much the same as flatpress

Loudblog-A platform that is specialised for podcasters

Onsugar-A new blogging platform that is specialised for women due to its feminine look.

I also found an article published where it is easily given "7 Reasons to Choose WordPress for Your Blog"

If you want to rank high in the search results of Google and the other search engines, you must know before you dive into the process that getting good rankings in the search engines for your chosen keywords can take a really long time before you begin seeing results. While inbound links to your website, targeted to your chosen keywords, will help your website climb in the search results of your favorite search engines, it may be a frustrating journey.

Browsing in DP forums, I read a question where the poster was asking how he could get his website to rank well in Google for the single search term, such as “SEO”. Actually, it is nearly impossible in every search engine to rank well in the natural results for such a singular keyword as “SEO”. If you want to rank well in Google, you need to build inbound links (IBLs) to your website with your targeted keywords in the links. But, you don’t want to put all of your links together with one keyword phrase. One of Google’s penalty is when they notice a link to a particular website appearing more than 60% of the time with one specific keyword phrase.

It’s very important that you understand what you are doing here, and why you are doing it. If you have a brand new blog (under 100 posts) - continue to hammer away at your main keywords used in your home page title, description, and domain name until you get good search results for it. Then, slowly develop a list of additional keyword phrases to work on over time.

Utilizing a variety of long-tail keywords will actually serve you better in the search-engine ranking puzzle, in more ways than one. Additionally, when I do a search for SEO, I don’t type in the search word, “SEO”. I type in search phrases like: “Smart SEO Tips”,“SEO Resources”, “affordable SEO Tool”, “Best SEO Practices”, “professional SEO services”, “complete SEO software”, “Busby SEO Test”,etc.

People searching the keyword “SEO” have yet to figure out that they are looking for specific kinds of SEO. Once they do an initial search, they are going to type in more specific search terms to find what they actually want. So, once you start targeting a variety of long-tail keyword phrases, then you will start seeing more success in your natural search ranking efforts.

You may like to get consider using a search monitor tool to track your keywords and protect yourself from the competition.

One of the main factors that play an important role in Google algorithm that determine page relevancy is keyword usage. Google look these below mentioned keyword factors and apply a sort of relevancy score for each page of your blog.

1. Keyword density :
Keyword density is the figure of how many times a keyword used on a blog’s page divided by the total number of words on the page. Since this competition is using keyword phrase of SEO Test then you must spread the appearances of this keyword on your blog article that will represent a moderate density. Actually there’s no fixed figure of of ideal density value for Google, but by allowing 3%-5% keyword density is quite representative for your blog to be visible enough for Google.

2. Keyword format :
This is an aspect of page relevancy which measure whether keywords are bolded or italicized or underlined on a page. For example, you can do it like this SEO Test for bolding the keyword, or SEO Test for italicizing it, or SEO Test for underlining it. The best way to do this is on the first paragraph of your blog post and spread them along the whole portion of the article.

3. Keyword proximity :
Keyword proximity is a measuring figure of word order and closeness of any individual words that build up a phrase in your page content. The closer words in a keyword phrase and in the correct order, the better it is to the eyes of search engines. For example, when someone searches for “SEO Test”, then Google will assigns a higher score for your page containing exactly the keyphrase “SEO Test” than if it is containing the keyphrase “Web SEO Test”.

4. Keyword placement :
Google also take account where on the page your keywords are located. This is called keyword placement, which Google will look for the keywords whether it located on the page title, in headings, in body content text, in text links, or in image ALT tag. Reach this by placing the keyword “SEO Test” on the title of pages.

5. Keyword prominence :
This keyword prominence is a way Google to measure how early the keywords showed up on a page. Putting your keywords “SEO Test” on the first heading in the first paragraph will bring your page more visible to Google search engine spider.

Taking into account all the above mentioned aspects and elements of keyword and applying them in to your SEO Test blog, will make your competitive advantage for this challenge rise to a significant level for the search engine will look up your keyword phrases more easily.

If you’ve been doing any kind of reading about link building, then you’ve probably seen people mentioning “nofollow” and “dofollow” links. These are very important terms to understand when you are trying to build great links back to your site in order to increase your search engine rankings. But, to the person who is new to all of this, it may be kind of confusing. I am going to help you break it down.

"Dofollow" are simply the links which are crawled by Search Engines and "Nofollow" are simply the opposite of it.So I think you would obviously prefer most of the times a "dofollow" blog if you are trying to build links for your blog.

As many people might be knowing my Blog is completely a "dofollow" blog but the question arises How should I Check it?

The Solution is here:

Solution 1

1.Go to the website/blog you'd like to visit.

2.If you're a firefox browser user then click VIEW from the Menu Bar, go to PAGE SOURCE. (For IE users, choose SOURCE)

3.Using your keyboard, Press CTRL + F.

4.Type any “Name of the commentator” from that post in the “Find tool”.Also make sure that the commentator gave the URL to his site in his comment.

5.And Now look at the example's below which will help you to decide whether it is nofollow or dofollow.

Example of DoFollow URL of the commentator:
<a href="http://www.smartbloggerz.com/" rel="follow">Smart Bloggerz</a>

Example of NoFollow URL of the commentator:
<a href="http://www.smartbloggerz.com/" rel="nofollow">Smart Bloggerz</a>

But Sometimes it becomes complicated, tiring also boring using this.So If you don't like this method then try the other Solution below.

Solution 2

There are some Firefox Add-ons which will help you decide the same in a easy and fast way.

Some of them are "NoDoFollow" and "SearchStatus"

After install, restart Firefox for your settings to take effect .

Now to use the "NoDoFollow" add-on move on to any web page , right click anywhere and select NoDoFollow to activate this addon & see how it works in below screenshot.

The red color means it is nofollow and blue means it is dofollow.

To use the "SearchStatus" add-on Look at the firefox status bar, right click SearchStatus icon, check HIGHLIGHT NO FOLLOW LINKS and then go to the website/blog you'd like to visit and see its effects below in screenshot.

So you decide which solution you like and would like using and keep commenting on blogs. Now it's your choice whether you want it to be nofollow or dofollow.

free,domain,names

Hi! As you might have read while entering the blog that my exams are going but still I can not wait so long therefore I am writing this post to aware you about How Free Domain Names Affect your Blog.

Many People while starting blogging basically uses a free domain name like .tk,.co.nr,.uni.cc and many more fundoo domains. They have to do this basically due to lack of funds just like what happened with me while starting blogging but later on managed in giving my blog it's own domain.

Many people takes their free domain from .tk but you should remember that they do not not give you any dns support. They will just redirect your url like smartbloggerz.blogspot.com, to www.smartbloggerz.tk just like tinyurl does.

If you are a newbie you will not get to know the difference. It will create a framed web page thus your original site body will not be indexed by search engine.Just the meta description & meta keywords will be indexed.

Therefore when people will search a required topic then the search engines like Google cannot find it even if you have written it in your blog post. Thus you will keep loosing your potential visitors & you won't get a decent traffic.

So I would recommend you to buy a domain if it's affordable otherwise stick to your .blogspot domain Or If your blog is popular then you can ask your readers for the donation. If they like reading your blog they will definitely help you.

This directory which I have made can help you in finding cheapest domains

Or You can get a Free .com Domain Here!

Google Adsense is a popular PPC website around the net which helps people to monetize their site/blog with it's targeted advertising. And since it's launch it's moving like a Typhoon :) But there are Myths which remains there which affects the the adsense as well as the mentality of those bloggers who thinks about it.So,here are some of the popular Myths about google Adsense which I have collected from Internet which you should never ever believe on otherwise it will affect your blog improvement.

1.Displaying AdSense ads helps you rank better
People think since "Google" is behind the adsense therefore displaying ads from it will help in improving your rankings which is completely wrong and bogus. So you would be a fool if you think like that.

2.Targeting high paying keywords is the way to get high earnings
It is true that keywords helps better placement of ads with high paying ratio but guess what, you’re not the only one who knows about them and, as such, you will have to compete against a lot of other webmasters for traffic. And since these keywords are quite specific, there are not that many searches for them and, as such, traffic will be an issue which will prove to be quite problematic. Making money by targeting high paying keywords is not impossible, but never make the mistake of thinking that it will be a piece of cake.

3.High Traffic and High CTR Means High Income
Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? But will the fact that you are receiving more traffic automatically have higher earnings as a result?High income depends of several factors, such as smart pricing and what type of website you run.Even if we leave the issue of smart pricing aside, believing that higher traffic is a guarantee for higher earnings is a mistake you need to steer clear of.

4.Using a only one type of ad size
People generally use a certain ad size all around their blog mainly "468x60 px" ads are very popular since people think it is a classic one and it is used from the starting of internet advertising era plus many advertisers also submit their banners in this form. And that’s exactly the problem: the 468×60 ad unit looks like a banner, and, since people are used to this ad format, they will simply overlook it and your CTR will not exactly be something worth bragging about as a result.

5.Display More & More Ads
Some people also believe that placing more and more ad units throughout your blog increase your blog income dramatically but it is wrong since if you try this method your content won't matter much to the readers and they will prefer to leave your blog and you know what is the meaning of this i.e loss of traffic or your valuable readers.

So that was something to know about the popular Google Adsense Myths which I have already said you should never believe on.There are many more stupid Ideas of blogger to increase their adsense income like teaming up with other bloggers and exchanging clicks with other but do remember that their is someone more smarter that you on net(yes it is Google) and if you get ban from there it is almost impossible to defend yourself.

Well after setting up blog perfectly people manly thinks that how would they monetize their site. Some people make a way by selling ads on the blog but it certainly gives you small income but selling affiliate ads that attract users much more is also amongst the good ways as affiliate ads gives you higher income as compared to selling ads on the blog. But the problem arises when you don't get correct affiliates for your blog.

You may have seen many sites consulting you to make money via affiliates and most will point you in the direction of selling ebooks from Clickbank and selling by using PPC (pay per click) on the major search engines, Google, Yahoo and MSN. The main problem with this is that so many people are promoting the same ebooks via the same methods that it is difficult for a newcomer to break into the market and make any money particularly as the amount spent on PPC can quickly run into hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

So what to do in such a situation? The anwser would be joining new generation sites like pepperjamNetwork.

pepprjamNetwork (PJN) is designed to make the experience of affiliate marketing profitable and educational for both merchants and affiliates. Unlike most other traditional networks PJN uses Web 2.0 technology to provide affiliates and merchants with an easy-to-use, clean interface. In addition, PJN offers industry leading SID-level tracking and reporting - this robust technology is especially beneficial to search marketing and sophisticated super affiliates that want to take advantage of the most up-to-date technology available to track at the keyword level. You can choose from different procts from different category.

But after getting those tips many bloggers still do some mistakes in selecting the right affiliate.
These are some of the common mistakes which I collected from the Internet.

1. Not promoting the product which suits best

Most people want to make from affiliate marketing as much money as possible and in a very short span of time. This is the reason why they tend to overlook the fact that not every product that is "hot" on the market is necessarily the right one for them to choose. Therefore, they should not choose the product that is in demand without taking into consideration if that specific product appeals to them or suits them. For a higher success rate, one must pick fist of all a product that is in his area of interest

2. Not testing the product

This is a huge mistake that may cost you everything: your promotion will be far from effective. It is vital that you should do this step of testing it yourself. It may be possible that some affiliate products are very profitable for certain affiliate marketing entrepreneurs, but this does not mean that it will necessarily apply to you too.

In addition, if you want to convincingly promote your product, you must be able to relay that specific product to your customers. What you need to do is to test it yourself and so, you will become a living proof of its efficiency. This requires an entire process which involves a strategy, planning, working hard and tracking the results.

3. Not doing a proper research on the market

In order for you to find the right niche affiliate program, you must do an effective research: read articles, news, review information and blogs. Not becoming the customer will only make your work harder and you will eventually fail. Consequently, it is important to give your product as much attention as possible and take one product at a time.

Not having an effective keyword research will stop you from finding out which are the most profitable markets and products to sell online. Besides a variety of keyword tools that give you a hand in generating hot niche keywords on the internet, you must also take into consideration the search engines, which help you with your affiliate marketing niche.

Some of the most important steps for a more effective keyword research are:
  • Creating an effective list and double-checking it
  • Befriending the keyword research tools
  • Finalizing the list
  • Planning the attack
  • Rinse, wash, repeat
The most important step in a more effective keyword research is creating the list and checking it twice. This is a slow process which involves certain steps. Firstly, you must come up with a list of potential keywords by using the method of brainstorming whatever word or phrase you believe a customer might type when trying to search for you.

Secondly, try to come up with enough words to include the variety of services you are offering. In order for you to do this, don't be afraid to resort to your friends' or colleagues' help.
Promoting affiliate products that are lacking demand by ignoring the competition and the market research for testing the product's efficiency are things you should fear. Also, not finding an affiliate program with a proven record of consumer satisfaction by not taking into consideration the social media (comments on forums in regards to the company and its products) is something that you must avoid doing.

4. Promoting too few products

When you are in this business, it is important to know that you must offer your customers alternatives and buying options. It is true that at first you must focus on only one product that suits you best and promote it as good as you can, but if you are selling only one or two products forever, one might think that you are forcing them into buying those specific products and feel the urge to leave your site.

However, offer them enough space and they will have the feeling that it is them who are in control of the purchase. Moreover, if you have a larger variety of products to sell, you will consequently increase the likelihood of larger sales. But don't fall on the other side and promote all sorts of products for money-making's sake.

5. Promoting too many products

This is a very frequent mistake made by new affiliates. Of course that at the beginning there will be this intention to promote as many products as possible, thinking that the more products promoted, the more profit they will bring. But this way of thinking is erroneous, for promoting a product requires a lot of time.

Once you decide to promote many products, you implicitly have to diminish the amount of time for each product, which will eventually lead to an efficient promotion. Another aspect is that a wide range of buying choices might confuse the customer - he will be taken aback by the specific category you are trying to sell with the profile of the company you belong to.

It is highly advisable that you should come up with enough products that are well classified and that are an indicator of the top selling ones in order to help them make the right choice.

Promoting too few products is a mistake and so is promoting too many products. Thus, you must find the balance between these two.

6. Focusing on the affiliates program not on the product

It is of vital importance for you to remember that you must market the product, and not the program. Therefore, don't even for a second forget about the real product you're selling, even though you might be inclined to dedicate yourself to competing with other well-performing affiliates.

We are not saying that competition is not good, you need to stay competitive, but you must also be generous enough to share your information and make use of necessary resources such as certain links and blogs with other affiliates to generate sales not only by yourself, but together.

7. Failing to invest in viable means of advertising

Don't use the wrong materials. In order to do this, pay attention to the response of your target market and you will definitely be able to tell which specific form of advertising is more appropriate for affiliate marketing. You should take a few steps: invest in well-made endorsements, banners, emails and links.

Some markets respond very well to any of these. However, you must make sure that every advertisement of yours is informative and has viable content that will confer your company's credibility. This will eventually lead to increased sales from satisfied customers.

8. Ignoring the Search Engine Optimization Porcess

Ignoring SEO is a common mistake among affiliates. We must not fail to take into consideration that a good content is not necessarily the road to success, for a non-optimized site will never attract potential customers. A good search engine optimization gives you better visibility and if you apply the SEO techniques properly, you will have a more valuable site, with higher chances of attracting customers. Read also an article about Top Major Mistakes in the Search Engine Optimization Process

9. Focusing on the product not on the site

Focusing on the product is a good thing to do when you are trying to succeed in this business, but focusing only on the product, thus placing your site on the second place will bring you difficulties. Therefore, you should always bring something new to your site, improve it as much as you can, for the site will influence whether your product will sell or not.

If you want people to buy from you, then try a different approach from the other affiliates, be creative and innovative with your site. Keep in mind that the product is an added bonus to your customers.

10. Failing to keep up with latest news in the industry of your chosen products

It is common knowledge that we live in a world where change is the key process. Moreover, we can't fail to notice that transformation also applies to the field of internet marketing.

In consequence, it is important to keep up with the latest news in the industry of your chosen product and to constantly inform yourself on the newest trends and techniques in the field. Be aware that this is a competition, so being updated with the latest news is essential if you want to be successful.

11. Not to exchange your ideas, experience and knowledge

Not to actively participate in the most popular forums, web boards, membership sites or chat rooms is a big mistake, because it is here where marketing entrepreneurs can identify the problems in the market. In this respect, there are several important forums which you must visit: It is very unprofessional not to remain in contact with the new information. Experience exchange is a great opportunity for you to find more about the affiliate marketing niche and also to find which products best sell on the internet. In addition, experience exchange will help you find out how to come up with new methods, make your site useful and also add a personal note to it.
To conclude, if you don't make these mistakes, follow the suggestions and analyze the collected information, you cannot fail to discover the right affiliate product for you to sell. Focus on the problem and try to find a solution for the problems people are facing on the market. If you are passionate about these products, you will find the key to success!
